Agriturismo Corte San Girolamo is located within Mincio Park, close to the historic centre of Mantua, around an 18th century mill where, until the middle of the 18th century, there was a monastery of the order of San Girolamo (Saint Jerome) with a cloister and a church with a central nave and two aisles.
Guido Gonzaga, canon of the Cathedral, founded the monastery in 1420.
The working farm, where Agriturismo San Girolamo is located, runs along Mantua’s Lago Superiore, with a bicycle path that, after 2.5 kilometres in one direction, takes you to the city. If you go in the other direction, the bicycle path winds along the banks of the Mincio river for about 40 kilometres before reaching Peschiera on Lake Garda. Verona, Brescia, Cremona and Venice are easy to reach from Mantua.
All the rooms are on the ground floor and all face the park.
